TÈNUA is a brand of fragrances, body care, and homeware launched by the creative studio PHANTASMA in Milan, Italy, in 2022. With the concept “Make comfort the new normal,” TÈNUA invites a rethinking of how scent and design can shape the rhythm of contemporary life—turning ordinary gestures into quiet rituals of comfort. At its core lies the encounter of two worlds: Creative Director Riccardo Moroni from Italy, and Art Director Fumiaki Ebara from Japan. Their collaboration bridges distance and culture—where European sensibility meets Japanese stillness, and emotion finds balance in clarity. It is a dialogue between intuition and precision, warmth and restraint, memory and minimalism. From this fusion emerges a language that is neither one nor the other, but something uniquely TÈNUA.
Riccardo, a former menswear designer and now creative director, translates feelings, travels, and fragments of memory into scent. His compositions reinterpret the depth of European tradition through a contemporary lens, unbound by convention and guided by emotion. Each object is made in Italy with thoughtful design and honesty of material—crafted using natural and recycled components sourced with care from around the world. Together, they form a collection that transcends function, offering a quiet presence in space, a sense of still beauty, and a fragrance that lingers like a memory. Fragrances Crafted in Every Mindful Drop.
We use carefully selected high-quality materials from Italy and around the world, with all manufacturing done in Italy. Additionally, most products and packaging use natural and recycled materials. The candles are made with 100% soy wax and cotton wicks, while the diffuser’s sticks are 100% natural materials. The candles and diffusers are made with recycled glass, and the sprays are made with recycled plastic.
TÈNUA aims to provide a luxurious environment through its products, combining meticulously crafted fragrances and beautifully designed items that eliminate waste.
